ASSISTANT HEAD (MATERNITY LEAVE COVER - 1 YEAR)


Due to the maternity leave of the current post holder, we wish to appoint an Assistant Head from 1 September 2024 until 31 August 2025. The successful applicant will join a happy, cohesive and forward-thinking senior team.


This position represents a fantastic opportunity for a suitably dynamic, experienced and highly-qualified professional, who has excellent leadership skills and is fully aligned to the Woodford Green Preparatory School ethos.


We are an independent day school providing an excellent education for 380 boys and girls aged 3-11 years. Pupils are happy and are encouraged to strive to do their very best through a broad range of experiences. Dedicated staff work hard to ensure that pupils are supported through excellent pastoral care.

KS2 Class Teacher Full Time (1 year contract)

Teaching Assistant

Full time, term time only

Start date: 1st September 2024

Hours 8.30am – 3.30pm

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications & experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind and dedicated teaching assistant to our support pupils’ learning.

Based primarily in the Upper Prep school (Years 4-6), the successful candidate will work with a dedicated team of staff to support pupils’ learning, both in the classroom and through small group intervention work.

We are a nurturing, happy and highly successful school that has high ambition for all pupils in our care.

The successful candidate will have a ‘can-do’ approach, a willingness to be flexible in approaches to teaching and learning, and enjoy the company of primary aged children.

This post would suit someone looking for a varied and dynamic role, with opportunities for making a real difference to the children’s learning.
